Luke Shaw has signed a new contract that will keep him at Manchester United until 2027.
The England defender, who was out of contract at the end of next season, has made 249 appearances for United and emerged as a key player under Erik ten Hag. Shaw, 27, who joined United in 2014 from Southampton in a £27million deal, lost his place at the start of the season, but has since reclaimed his status as first-choice left-back.
After penning the new deal after the Red Devils' dire 2-0 defeat away to Newcastle on Sunday, Shaw said: "Nine years ago, I signed for this amazing club, and I'm thrilled to be extending my stay. I've grown immensely since coming to Manchester all those years ago, both as a person and as a player. I know what is needed to succeed at a club like this.
"We're at the beginning of our journey under the manager and his coaching staff. We've been successful already this season, but we want much more. There's a great opportunity to create something special here, and I’m going to give everything to be part of that."
John Murtough, United's Football Director, said: "Luke is a massively important player to the squad and has grown into one of the best defenders in the world. He has been at the club for nearly a decade and understands the expectations for success, and the hard work, commitment and high standards required to achieve it.
"He has added leadership to his other outstanding abilities, and we all look forward to seeing him in a Manchester United shirt for years to come."

The announcement comes just two days after a furious Shaw called out his team-mates for their woeful display during Sunday's loss at Newcastle. The result saw them surrender third place to the Magpies and eventually drop out of the Champions League places after Tottenham got a point at Everton.
"I don't think they [Newcastle] won the game on quality today, they won it on passion, desire, hunger, attitude, and they had higher motivation than us and that can't be possible," Shaw told Sky Sports post-match. "I feel I say the same things every time we lose. It's not acceptable. At Manchester United that can't be possible."
Boss Ten Hag agreed with him and added: "I hate to say it, they were better today. Especially in determination, passion and desire. They wanted to win more this week. So they won. "We had our opportunities but then you have to go for goal with the determination they did.
"It wasn't good enough. We allowed them too many chances. In the past we were better. You have to be hungry, give everything, every game. Our attacking game was not good enough."
