Luke Shaw is pleased with the positive atmosphere at Manchester United right now and has praised how the summer's new signings have seamlessly fitted into the 'family.'
It's been a summer of change at United with new manager Erik ten Hag taking charge and bringing in a fresh set of backroom staff, while there has been plenty of changes to the squad as well. A number of players have left Old Trafford while the club have brought in three new recruits.
Tyrell Malacia, a left-back competing with Shaw for a place in the side, was the first through the door from Feyenoord. Next came elegant playmaker Christian Eriksen, who joined on a free transfer after leaving Brentford, and he was swiftly followed by combative centre-back Lisandro Martinez who was signed from Ajax.

Shaw has explained that the new additions have been welcomed into the squad and have added to the growing optimism. He told United's in-house media on the mood within the camp: “It’s good. I think it’s always been good. We all get on really well and we’re like a family.
"We aim to create a family atmosphere and, with that, everyone feels together and close and that makes things better out on the pitch. There is definitely a good vibe and it’s been really enjoyable with the new manager and his ideas."
Ten Hag and his players will be hoping the positivity continues this weekend when United get their Premier League campaign under way. Their first match will be against Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday.
