Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has already detailed what sort of managerial qualities Mauricio Pochettino could bring to Old Trafford, pointing to how his motivation improves players.
The Argentine — who is currently in charge of French giants Paris Saint-Germain — is one of the frontrunners to become United's next permanent manager, alongside Ajax chief Erik ten Hag. Pochettino has long since been sounded out by the United hierarchy as a strong candidate to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
United made an attempt to lure Pochettino to Old Trafford back in November but saw their efforts quickly knocked back by PSG. However, it's understood Pochettino remains keen to return to England, bolstering United's chances of appointing him this summer.

Should the Reds prove to be successful in their efforts, it would see the former Tottenham Hotspur boss reunited with Shaw. The pair worked together at Southampton and the Argentine played a formidable role in the beginning of the defender's career.
Shaw has previous waxed lyrical about Pochettino in journalist Guillem Balague's book 'Brave New World: Inside Pochettino's Spurs.'
"He used to call me his son," said Shaw. "That's how good our relationship was.
"I've had lots of ups and downs, but when I was with Pochettino it was only ever up, up, up. He made me feel that I was the best.
"He'd show me clips of my games and say, 'You could do this better'. Not in a horrible way. Not I could have done better, but I should have done better, because he knows I can be better.
"I think with Southampton he achieved the impossible. We were one of the best footballing teams in the league... I do hope that I can play for him again one day. And I think he really wants me to play under him again."
It could well happen at United. Pochettino is one of the favourites to pick up the baton from Ralf Rangnick this summer and lead United's next chapter. However, nothing has yet been guaranteed.
Nevertheless United football director John Murtough, speaking earlier this week, confirmed that the search for the club's next boss is ongoing.
"We know that consistency is key as we strive for a top-four finish this season," Murtough said, speaking on Tuesday. "I want to reiterate however that this is not the ultimate objective for Manchester United, and everyone at the club is focused on challenging for the top trophies.
"We are now conducting a thorough process for the appointment of a new permanent manager who will take charge this summer, with the objective to get us back to challenging for those domestic and European titles."
