Luke Littler has revealed that he hopes to parade the PDC World Darts Championship trophy at Old Trafford.
The boyhood Manchester United fan created history on Friday night after he thrashed three-time winner Michael van Gerwen in the Ally Pally final.
Littler’s 7-3 win means he is the youngest player to land the coveted Sid Waddell Trophy at just 17-years-old. Furthermore, the brilliant teenager scooped a cool £500,000 for beating ‘The Green Machine.’
‘The Nuke’ capped off a marvellous 12 months after he etched his name into sporting history. His meteoric rise began at the Worlds in 2024 whereby he finished runner-up.
Since then, Littler has gone on to win a number of titles including the Grand Slam, the Premier League and the World Series.
Against Van Gerwen in London, Littler averaged 102.73 and hit an impressive 12 180s during his herculean display in front of a vibrant Ally Pally crowd.

Luke Littler Reveals Old Trafford Trophy Wish
Although Manchester United aren’t doing too well at present, Luke Littler intends to showcase the PDC World Darts Championship trophy in front of thousands of Red Devils supporters.
“If they allow me to then I’m sure I’ll go to Old Trafford,” Littler explained to Sky Sports reporters after his historic triumph.
“Yeah [it’s an honour] I’m glad I beat Stephen [Bunting] yesterday as I’m pretty sure he was going to take it to Anfield on the weekend.”
Rivals Liverpool and United go toe-to-toe on Sunday in a pivotal Premier League clash for both sides. Littler will be hoping his success can spur his boyhood club on to record a surprise result.
The 2025 PDC World Darts champion already has a good relationship with his Red Devils heroes. Littler chucked some arrows with the likes of Harry Maguire and Christian Eriksen at Carrington last year.
Meanwhile, the best betting sites in the UK price Littler as the favourite to retain the Sid Waddell Trophy in 2026. The darts sensation can be backed at 7/4.
