Luke Evans has ‘a moment’ as he returns to place he used to holiday as a kid

Welsh Hollywood star Luke Evans has been reminiscing about his childhood visits from his home in Wales to Longleat safari park and stately home in Wiltshire. Luke called visiting the park again a "dear dairy moment".

Posting a very snowy scene of him wrapped up warm, standing outside the grand home with a Land Rover Luke spoke about his trips there when he was younger from his hometown with his parents to see the "amazing animals". Luke grew up in Aberbargoed, Rhymney Valley having been born in Pontypool.

He also described the trip as a "glorious weekend with friends". Luke said: "I used to come here as a kid from South Wales with my parents, to see the amazing animals. Yesterday, I parked outside the front door to collect my luggage after a glorious weekend with friends. Dear diary moment. Thank you @ceawlin_weymouth and @emmaweymouth the snow was (literally) the icing on the cake. @landrover @longleatofficial"

Many fans commented on the post, also sharing their memories of visiting Longleat from Wales. One said: "We were there on Saturday! It was amazing this year as always. We visit several times a year from South Wales, as it's our favourite place to connect as a family!"

Another said: "I used to go there with my parents too from West Wales xx" and a third said: "Longleat our go to holiday every year when I was 4yrs old living in Aberbargoed, I remember it being absolutely massive."

Recently Luke re-created a sweet childhood picture in his old street. In the original photo, a younger Luke is crouching next to his cat and holding a stick. In the recent photo, Luke is crouching in the exact same place however without the stick or cat. He also took the photo exactly 40 years apart and said it was a "nice memory", tagging Crumlin as the location.
