It appeared as if Leeds United supporters were in for a grim evening when Wolverhampton Wanderers went into the half-time break with a 2-0 lead over the Whites. The optimism generated by Joe Gelhardt's late winner against Norwich City was rapidly dissipating before the Whites launched a dramatic comeback, eventually securing a 3-2 win in remarkable fashion.
A number of players delivered colossal performances in the second-half as Leeds fought back and using our player ratings widget, supporters have rated the displays of those who featured at Molineux. Unsurprisingly, defender Luke Ayling has come out on top with an average rating of 7.9. Much of the focus was on his decisive strike in the dying embers and his comical celebration in the aftermath of the win but he was impressive throughout the evening.
Rodrigo was given an average rating of 7.5 after helping to carve Wolves open with his trickery and movement, whilst Kristoffer Klaesson earned a 7.4 for stepping in to deputise for Illan Meslier and impressing. Jack Harrison and Charlie Cresswell complete the top four with ratings of 7.1, having both played crucial roles in the second-half comeback.

Just two players fell short of the six mark, Diego Llorente and Patrick Bamford, both of which were substituted in the first-half due to injury. Leeds have had their squad stretched to its limits by absences this season and seeing four players withdrawn due to injury on Friday will have been incredibly frustrating for supporters.
However, the displays of stand-ins Klaesson and Cresswell will have reassured many and their ratings reflect an appreciation of their efforts to plug gaps which could have easily proven devastating. The manner in which senior players such as Ayling and Rodrigo spurred the side on in the face of adversity will have been equally as reassuring for a fanbase which has had its nerves frayed repeatedly this season.
