Chelsea's player ratings for FIFA 22 have been released today, with their squad given big upgrades after their success in the UEFA Champions League last season.
Chelsea won their second-ever Champions League trophy and secured a top-four finish in a very successful campaign for the west-London side last season, and their performances have been reflected in their FIFA 22 player ratings, with the likes of N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mason Mount all receiving big upgrades from FIFA 21.
Kante takes Chelsea's top spot as their highest-rated player once again with a 90 overall rating out of 99, and summer signing Romelu Lukaku is the second highest at the club, ranking at 88 overall.

Kante received a plus two overall on his FIFA 22 card compared to his FIFA 21 card, making him the ninth highest-rated player in the game. The Frenchman received a +1 in all of his stats apart from shooting and passing, with the latter decreasing by one.
Luakaku will receive a massive upgrade of +3 overall in FIFA 22, with his biggest individual stat upgrade being +4 in his shooting after a deadly season for Inter Milan and for Belgium.
Some other standout upgrades are Mason Mount (+3 overall), Reece James (+4 overall), Callum Hudson-Odoi (+3 overall) and Edouard Mendy (+4 overall), with the goalkeeper receiving massive upgrades in all his stats compared to FIFA 21.
There were also some downgrades in the Chelsea squad from last season, with the biggest surprises being Cesar Azpilicueta (-1 overall) and Kai Havertz (-1 overall), who had impressive seasons last year.
Like Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech also downgraded from 85 to 84 overall, however, these downgrades were more expected after their performances from last season.
