Lukaku and Jorginho battle, James absent: 3 things spotted in Chelsea training ahead of Norwich

Chelsea are back in Premier League action this weekend as they look to make it four wins in a row in the top-flight with a trip to relegation-threatened Norwich.

Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Reece James were on target as Thomas Tuchel's side beat Burnley 4-0 at Turf Moor and they will be big favourites to take another three points tomorrow tonight.

Dean Smith's side are rock bottom of the Premier League and recently lost 3-0 to Brentford, so there are plenty of reasons for the Blues to be optimistic.

Ahead of the game, football.london has taken a look inside Chelsea training and here are three key things spotted.

Reece James absent

James returned to the starting XI with a bang against Burnley but looks set to miss the trip to East Anglia.

The 22-year-old grabbed a goal and an assist at Turf Moor but also picked up a muscle injury, less than a week after finally making his return from a hamstring injury.

Tuchel confirmed that he sat out training as a result of the knock and he was nowhere to be seen in any of the photographs from Cobham.

Lukaku and Jorginho battle

Lukaku has lost his grip on the striking spot in Thomas Tuchel's starting XI of late and he does not look set to win it back any time soon amid Kai Havertz's excellent run of form.

But that is not for a want of trying in training as the Belgian was pictured in an intense battle with teammate Jorginho for the ball at Cobham.

As good a player as the Italian is, we are putting our money on Lukaku to come out on top in that particular tussle.

Andreas Christensen trains amid departure rumours

Chelsea centre-back Andreas Christensen was still present for training despite recent reports that he is set to join Barcelona at the end of the season.

The Denmark international will become a free agent in the summer when his current deal at Stamford Bridge comes to an end, and the Catalan giants have pounced.

Thomas Tuchel commented on Christensen and other players coming to the end of their contracts in his press conference on Wednesday.
