Dallas Mavericks' star player, Luka Doncic, is set to return to action against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday following a brief absence due to left hamstring soreness. The announcement was made by Mavericks' coach Jason Kidd.
Doncic had to leave the court with just under seven minutes remaining in the game against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday after experiencing tightness in his hamstring. This unfortunate incident brought an end to his impressive streak of seven consecutive triple-doubles.
As a result of the discomfort, Doncic was unable to join his team for their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. However, the MRI results on his hamstring came back clean, providing some relief to both Doncic and the Mavericks organization.
Despite missing a game, Doncic continues to showcase his exceptional skills on the court this season. He currently leads the NBA in scoring with an impressive average of 34.3 points per game. Additionally, he ranks third in assists, averaging 9.8 per game, and 17th in rebounds with an average of 9.0 per game.
