Dallas coaches learned a valuable lesson during pregame warmups ahead of Tuesday night's Western Conference showdown between the Lakers and Mavericks at American Airlines Center—don't bet against the shooting skills of one of the NBA's best shooters, even from half-court.
The NBA shared a video on their official page on X (formerly known as Twitter) which starts with the four-time All-Star conversing with several of his coaches at mid-court. Seconds later, the 24 year-old sharp-shooter drains a half-court shot that hit nothing but net.
After betting that Luka Dončić would miss the shot, the clip concludes with the Maverick coaches hitting the floor to perform a series of push-ups.
The coaches bet push ups that Luka wouldn't make this half-court shot....
