Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Dončić is widely considered one of the best players in the world. So, you’d think his own teammates wouldn’t still be surprised with the things he does on the court. Evidently, that’s just not the case.
At Saturday’s All-Star Game practice, Dončić was shooting around while being interviewed by Mavs teammate Dereck Lively in Indianapolis, and he decided to put on a show for the crowd. From near half court, he took a shot by the ball rack. Before that, he looked at Lively, and simply called “bounce.”
Sure enough, Dončić lofted a high-arcing shot, and it took a high bounce off the hardwood into the basket.

Dončić simply deadpanned to Lively as he watched his teammate walk away in disbelief. He was quickly humbled, though, when he tried the same shot again and missed everything.
The 24-year-old Dončić will appear in his fifth All-Star Game on Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
