Luka Doncic drops a blatant F-bomb on the air while praising Dereck Lively II’s Mavericks debut

To be fair, Dereck Lively II had quite the debut for the Mavericks after he was chosen 12th overall out of Duke and dealt to Dallas.

He had 16 points (on 7-of-8 shooting!), 10 rebounds and a block plus a steal. Solid for a rookie to say the least.

After the Mavs’ win over Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs, Luka Doncic was so impressed, he said on the air in an interview with ESPN that Lively played “[expletive] amazing!” joining many an athlete and coach to drop F-bombs live on the air. Doncic knew right away he had made a mistake and apologized, noting he was tired after a masterful performance of his own:
