Luis Suarez is continuing his career-long habit of scoring spectacular goals, highlighted by his latest strike for Gremio.
The former Liverpool talisman signed for the Brazilian side at the end of 2022 and marked his debut for the club on January 17 by bagging a hat-trick in a 4-1 Recopa Gaucha triumph. Suarez then helped his new employers to a second title, the Campeonato Gaucho, last month after securing a 2-1 aggregate win over Caxias.
Already at double figures for goals, the 36-year-old is continuing the theme of being a success in whichever country he has featured in. His primary objective for the current campaign will be to help Gremio maintain their top-flight status, having recently secured their return to Brazil's primary division.

The Brazilian league season began last month and Suarez opened his goalscoring account in a 3-3 draw with RB Bragantino on May 7. Prolific in cup competitions this term, his latest effort in a first leg Copa do Brazil clash with Cruzeiro was a finish to be watched over and over again. Taking one touch to control the ball, the vastly experienced striker picked out the top right corner with a stunning outside-the-foot finish.
Under contract until December 2024, it remains to be seen as to whether or not Suarez deems himself able to continue competing or decides to call time on his professional career.
