Former Liverpool forward Luis Suarez believes he can still cut it at the top level of European football.
Suarez has spent the last two seasons at Atletico Madrid and in 2020-21 he played a starring role for the team as they won the La Liga title, netting 21 goals in the Spanish top flight.
This term he has found it harder to make an impact and it has been confirmed that he will leave the Wanda Metropolitano at the end of the campaign.

At his best, Suarez was arguably the best centre-forward in world football, as he excelled for Liverpool, Barcelona and then Atletico. While at 35 he is long past his peak, 11 goals in La Liga last season would indicate he still has something to offer.
The man himself would seem to think so to, as he's confirmed that he has turned down a number of offers in the hope of staying in European football.
"Trust me, I've not decided where I'm gonna play next season," he told El Larguero (h/t Fabrizio Romano). "I've received many proposals.
"Clubs from Argentina, Brazil and Mexico approached me but I want to play at top competitive level again. I'm focused on European football."
Suarez produced one of the best individual seasons in Premier League history in his final year at Anfield, with his 31 goals in 33 top-flight games taking Liverpool to within a whisker of Premier League glory in 2013-14.
Former Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard, now in charge of Aston Villa, has also been linked with a sensational move for the forward.
After leaving Liverpool he enjoyed remarkable success with Barcelona, winning the Champions League, four La Liga titles and the Copa del Rey a further four times.
