Luis Palma has had the runway cleared to land at Rangers this summer as Aris look to cash in on their star asset.
The Greek Super League club have no shortage of suitors for the 23-year-old they signed from Vida in January 2022. He has shone in his first full season of football in Europe, the winger scoring 10 goals and providing six assists. It has brought attention from around the world, with clubs in America, Brazil and Europe all registering interest either in the winter or ahead of this summer. And one of those who have reportedly watched him is Rangers ahead of Michael Beale's first summer window.
A fee of 5m (£4.4m) has been suggested as the asking price, and reports from Greek media site SportDog claim 'if the Thessalonians get the money they want, then the player will be sold. And it's also claimed Palma is in on the act with 'something that he himself apparently knows now.'
Palma's contract runs until 2026 so Aris are in a strong position to wheel and deal with interested parties like the Premiership giants. But the summer will be of 'crucial importance' as suitors line up.
