Luis Palma clings to Rangers transfer hope as he gets Scottish football savvy ahead of summer move '1000 per cent' happening

Luis Palma has dropped a strong hint that he would be open to a move to Rangers - as he admits to being a fan of the Scottish game.

The Honduran international has impressed for Greek club Aris and the rumour mill has been rife with talk that he is one of Michael Beale's summer targets. He has already unveiled Kieran Dowell and with key attackers Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos leaving the club after this weekend, there are vacancies in attacking areas.

English Premier League newcomers Burnley, Belgians Anderlecht and Gent plus MLS clubs are all on Palma's case according to Diez, alongside Dynamo Kiev. When asked on a scale from 1 to 100 if he was going to change teams, Palma emphatically replied '1000' before listing off his motivations and leagues of choice. He said: "I like the one from Belgium, Spain, the Premier League, Scotland, the Netherlands.

”Personally I have changed a lot as a person for the better, as a footballer I have changed a lot, thank God for giving me the opportunity to show what is in Honduras. What motivates me is my family, also the people who have always been with me."
