Luis Enrique Dismisses Reports Of Mbappé Insulting Him As False

Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has dismissed reports suggesting that Kylian Mbappé insulted him after being substituted in Sunday's league win at Marseille as false. Mbappé, who was replaced in the 65th minute of the match, appeared serious as he left the pitch, leading to speculation on social media about possible insults.

Luis Enrique addressed the situation, stating, 'The curious thing is that everything that is generated from a lie is what happens in the world of football. One has invented an insult and speculations of all kinds have arisen.'

Mbappé has seen limited playing time in PSG's recent Ligue 1 matches, with Luis Enrique opting to bench him following the player's decision to leave the club, which became public in February. Sources indicate that Mbappé is likely to join Real Madrid once his contract with PSG expires this summer.

On Instagram, Mbappé shared a photo of himself walking off the pitch against Marseille, holding the captain's armband in his hand. The post did not include a message.

Luis Enrique, while acknowledging the ongoing talks about Mbappé's future, expressed satisfaction with the player's attitude. He mentioned, 'After the games, it is a complicated moment, I feel very tired. But I am very happy with all the players, including Kylian. He has a sensational attitude.'
