Luis Diaz's seven-word message to Liverpool fans
Luis Diaz has sent a message to Liverpool fans after completing his £49m transfer from FC Porto.
The completion of the 25-year-old Colombian’s move to Anfield was confirmed on Sunday with the Reds making their move in the closing stages of the January transfer window to bring the highly-rated winger to Merseyside.
Diaz was believed to have had a £67m release clause in his contract, but Porto have been forced to take a financial hit after finishing third in their Champions League group behind Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, with the deal agreed believed to be worth up to £49m with add-ons.
Diaz will wear the number 23 shirt and will arrive on Merseyside once he has finished international duty with Colombia, who face Argentina in a World Cup qualifier in Cordoba on Tuesday evening.
And in a short video released on Liverpool's official social media channels, Diaz, who has scored seven goals in 31 appearances for his country, spoke for the first time.

Liverpool make Fabio Carvalho move
Liverpool are looking to do a deal with Fulham to sign Fabio Carvalho before the transfer window closes.
The Reds are one of several clubs who have been keeping tabs on the England youth international during a campaign that has seen him register eight times in 17 games for Marco Silva's Championship leaders.
Carvalho is out of contract in the summer and the ECHO understands Liverpool are looking to bring him to Anfield before Monday night's 11pm deadline.
Reds sources have stressed, however, that the club won't pay over the odds for a player who could join on a free transfer in the summer months.
There is also a concern that they could lose out to a European giant with Carvalho able to talk about a pre-contract agreement that would see Fulham due training compensation later down the line.
