Luis Diaz is "very happy" to be back in training with Liverpool after recovering from the knee injury he sustained in the loss at Arsenal in October.
The forward missed nearly a month of action for the Reds before club football took a break for the World Cup. But with the domestic and European club game back on the horizon, Diaz has been taking part in Liverpool's team training camp.
The Reds are currently in Dubai as they gear up for their Carabao Cup fourth-round match at Manchester City on Thursday, December 22. It will be Jurgen Klopp's side's first competitive game since they signed off with a 3-1 Premier League win at home to Southampton on November 12.

Diaz's return will be a huge boost to Liverpool boss Klopp, who will be hoping his team show better form in the second half of the season than the first.
The Colombian was one of the Reds' best performers in the first half of the campaign and will be looking to hit the ground running upon his return to action.
Diaz took to social media to say: "Very happy to be back."
It's safe to say the feeling is very much reciprocated by Liverpool supporters, who will get to see their side in action on Sunday when they play the first of two friendlies in Dubai, against Lyon (2pm kick-off UK time).
