Diaz continued his impressive start to his Liverpool FC career today as he bagged the first goal in a 2 - 0 victory over Brighton.
The 25-year-old put his body on the line to head home Joel Matip's superb through ball and open the scoring in a comfortable win at the Amex stadium.

Diaz was down injured after the goal as he was poleaxed by Brighton goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez.
The number 23 eventually recovered and was deservedly named man of the match following another electric display.
Diaz has moved to Merseyside with his long term partner, Gera Ponce, and their daughter Roma.
Gera regularly shares updates of her happy family life with her 156k Instagram followers.
She tuned into today's game at home alongside their daughter and shared an Instagram Story proudly watching Diaz as he was named as part of the start 11.
Gera also shared a post from Liverpool FC's official Instagram account after Diaz's goal alongside a praying and heart eyes emoji.
The couple have been together since April 2016 and Gera regularly shows support for her partner's on field exploits. .
She has been spotted at Anfield and made the trip down to Wembley to watch the Reds lift the Carabao Cup last month.
