Luis Diaz was absolutely electric during Sunday's cup final win over Chelsea.
Without putting too much pressure on his shoulders, he has settled in really well and already looks to be the real deal. He is a player we could have for a number of years and he will only get better, which is an added bonus. It takes a lot of players time to adapt to English football, but he has made light work of it after arriving from Portugal.
It's also hard to ignore the performance of Caoimhin Kelleher, who was trusted to start the final. Chelsea opted to switch their keepers going into the final, but Klopp stuck by his man.

He is only very young but is a superb keeper. I can’t tell you how pleased I am for him. He is going to be the Republic of Ireland’s number one keeper for years to come.
The issue he has is that the best goalkeeper in the world is ahead of him in his position at Liverpool, which is really tough for him. Where does his future lie? We will have to wait and see. He is a great shot stopper, is great with his feet and ticks every box. His was probably the best penalty of the night.
Chelsea's decision to take off Mendy for Kepa was odd. I was happy to see that happen, to be honest. Mendy had a brilliant game and he may have made a save in the shootout, who knows? It was certainly a decision that went in our favour.
Klopp will rank alongside Paisley and Shankly
Klopp has now claimed five trophies during his reign as manager of the club and is only missing the FA Cup off his list. He will be right up there with the big boys, whenever he decides to depart. It is amazing how he has turned things around.
We have Norwich next in the FA Cup, and we can’t take anything for granted. We could be in the quarter-finals of that competition and one step closer to another trophy.
On a separate note, I would like to send a message to former Liverpool forward John Toshack. He is currently in hospital after contracting COVID-19.
I know John from my Real Sociedad days more than anything. Being the chairman of ex-Liverpool players, every one of us wishes him the very best.
With Tranmere, meanwhile, let’s hope their current form is just a hiccup.
They have shown they have got what it takes to go up and, in Micky Mellon, they have a manager who has been there, seen it and done it. They need to regroup and have a final big push for promotion. The best time to get your form back is around April and May, and let’s hope that happens.
