Harvey Elliott has described new Liverpool signing Luis Diaz as "world-class" following his FA Cup debut against Cardiff at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp introduced Diaz in the 58th minute of the cup tie, with his team leading 1-0.
The Colombia international impressed during his brief cameo, creating Takumi Minamino's goal to help Liverpool win 3-1 and set up a fifth-round meeting with Norwich.
Diaz joined the Reds from Porto in January after a superb start to the season, scoring 14 goals in 18 league appearances for his former club.
He's now set to make his Premier League debut against Leicester on Thursday and Elliott - who made his long-awaited return from injury against Cardiff - believes he's the real deal.

"You can see that he’s got exceptional talent and he’s a top guy as well," the teenager told LFCTV. "We’re all around him, supporting him and we’re all there if he needs.
"I’m sure he will show what he’s about, he showed glimpses today. To come on next to him was a proud moment for myself as well because he’s, in my opinion, a world-class player.
"He’s only going to get better playing for Liverpool, playing in front of these fans.
"It’s exciting to see what the years could bring with him. I’m sure he will go on and show the world what he’s capable of doing."
Speaking to Liverpool's website, Diaz revealed why he joined the Premier League giants and insisted he was keen to hit the ground running.
"It’s a club that I’ve followed for a good while now and I’ve always watched them play," he said.
"It’s no secret that the Premier League is one of the best leagues around and I’ve followed the football here and watched it since I was a boy.
"And as for Liverpool, I don’t think I need to say much about them that hasn’t been said.
"It’s a great club, a real reference in the game, which has won many cups and league titles, and so Liverpool has always been my choice.
"I’m committed to being available from today, the very first day I’ve arrived. I’ve already trained a bit today, I was out on the pitch and then in the gymnasium.
"So yes, my mindset is that I’m ready to help out my team and do my bit and contribute, as you said.
"I’m available to the manager and his coaching staff for whatever they need me for, and I’ll be ready to go whenever."

Klopp added: "It’s a signing that has caused excitement with our fans and that’s really cool. It’s good to be excited and optimistic about something. I love the energy that comes with that.
"It’s a smart piece of business for the club... I don’t want to go into chapter and verse about Luis’ qualities, because soon enough he’ll have the chance to display them himself.
"What he does will be far more important than anything I say. But in terms of helping the team, the squad and club, it’s fantastic we made this happen."
