Luigi Mangione declared his arrest for allegedly killing UnitedHealthcare's CEO Brian Thompson is "completely unjust" to a group gathered outside a Pennsylvania courthouse on Tuesday.
While he was being transferred to attend his extradition hearing, Mangione was captured addressing the media.
"This is completely unjust and is an insult to the intelligence of the American people and their lived experience," Mangione said before police aggressively ushered him into the building.
Mangione was charged with one count of second-degree murder, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count of second-degree possession of a forged document, and one count of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to documents obtained by CNN.
He is currently being held without bail.
