Ludvig Aberg emerged victorious at the Genesis Invitational held at Torrey Pines, securing a one-shot win over Maverick McNealy. Aberg's triumph marked his second PGA Tour title and his third worldwide victory, propelling him to the world No. 4 ranking.

Aberg's final round heroics included a flawless display of shot-making, culminating in a 6-under 66. Notable highlights of his round included a crucial 7-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to clinch the victory.

McNealy, the early frontrunner, put up a valiant effort with a stellar 64 but fell short in the face of Aberg's late surge. Despite a strong start, McNealy's missed opportunities on the back nine allowed Aberg to claim the title.

Scottie Scheffler, who rebounded from a challenging third round, finished tied for third alongside Patrick Rodgers. Scheffler's impressive final round performance, highlighted by a chip-in birdie, showcased his resilience on the course.

Rory McIlroy, who struggled with his putting throughout the round, finished with a 72. Denny McCarthy, who briefly held the lead, ultimately settled for a tie for fifth after a rollercoaster final round.
