Popular conscious clothing brand Lucy & Yak has announced that it will open a shop in Bristol this October. The Stokes Croft shop will be only the second Lucy & Yak store in the UK, following the steps of the original Brighton store.
Since the launch of its wildly successful pop-up in Bristol in March, when fans were seen queuing up ahead of opening, they will be setting up shop permanently on October 1. The brand, known for its dungarees, will celebrate the launch with a two-part event.
A press, influencer and community night will take place on September 30, followed by a comedy night for all on October 1 - when the shop officially opens. The comedy night will feature a line-up of talented comedians including Abi Clarke, who hosted the sell-out show at the Bristol pop-up, and Huge Davies.

The soon-to-be established bricks and mortar store is part of Lucy & Yak’s aims to expand its presence across the UK, as well as allow for further opportunities to interact with fans and shoppers. Additional locations are already planned for 2022 and 2023, with the hope that each shop can become a Re:Yak Hub – a space for customers to be inspired into better shopping.
Lucy Greenwood, co-founder of Lucy & Yak, said: “We are so excited to be coming to Bristol permanently, following a great pop-up earlier this year. The city is such a cultural and creative place and one we can’t wait to be a part of!
“It also allows us to reach even more of our amazing community, which is something we plan to do more of this year and next - keep your eyes peeled!" More information is expected to be released about the Bristol branch on the brand's website and social media pages ahead of opening.
