Lucrezia Millarini confirmed as fourth Dancing on Ice 2020 contestant

Dancing on Ice have confirmed another name for the 2020 line-up, with a newsreader taking to the rink.

Lucrezia Millarini was announced on the Dancing on Ice Instagram on Wednesday, after Maura Higgins, Michael Barrymore and Kevin Kilbane were all confirmed earlier on.

The ITV News star will join the trio when the series returns in January, revealing she "can't wait" to take on the challenge.

She said: "I'm super excited to be joining the line up for DOI! I can't wait to get out there on the ice and start training.

"While the news agenda is already pretty busy these days, I know life is about to get a lot busier...with a few bruises along the way!"

Dancing on Ice posted a video of her on their Instagram page with the caption: "She's used to delivering the news, but can she deliver the moves? Joining us on the ice, @lucreziaitv !"

More contestants will be announced all this week, with the full line-up yet to be confirmed.

Match of the Day pundit Kevin was third to announce his signing earlier on, revealing the news live on Talksport Radio.

The 42-year-old said: "I am going on as a total novice. I'm starting from scratch here. This is going to be a massive challenge for me.

"I've been taking it easy for the last few years since I finished (football) so let's just see how this one goes."

Love Island's Maura Higgins was the first contestant confirmed (ITV)

Maura and Michael, meanwhile, were both announced on This Morning by Dancing on Ice hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on Tuesday morning.

Sharing her excitement for the journey ahead, Maura said: "I've skated twice in my life just for fun, so I've no experience at all.

"I'm up for the challenge. I'm more excited than scared. I'm brave and competitive so I think that will drive me."

Michael Barrymore will be taking to the rink (ITV)

Speaking in a pre-recorded video clip, Michael admitted he was excited to meet hosts Holly and Phil.

He said: "I'm delighted to say that I'll be joining the Dancing on Ice line up for 2020. I'm looking forward to meeting Holly and Phil. I'm very excited...it's performance time!"

Michael then joked: "Dave's not doing it," as he cuddled his adorable dog during the video.

Dancing on Ice returns in January on ITV.
