Lucky National Lottery ticket holder still hasn't claimed mega £5m jackpot - is it yours?

A National Lottery ticket worth £5 million remains unclaimed.

It was bought in Birmingham, West Midlands, but no-one from the area has so far flagged the win to lotto chiefs.

Numbers for the winning draw were selected on September 28 and the lucky ticket holder has until March 27 to claim their prize..

Camelot, which operates the National Lottery, revealed another ticket also remains unclaimed; a £7.4m winning ticket from Wolverhampton.

The cash will go to good causes. if those with a winning ticket do not come forward before the deadline.

The winner of the Birmingham ticket matched 3, 15, 20, 48, 57, 58 and a Bonus Ball of 9.

This will net the lucky winner a total of £5,070,357.

Lottery prize locations of £50,000 and over are divulged a fortnight after the draw if no-one comes forward.

This is to encourage them to claim their winnings.

Last week it was reported a retired teacher who scooped £3.5million in the EuroMillions draw celebrated with a glass of water and a sit-down.

Celeste Cole, 69, bought her ticket for the July 12 draw moments before sales ended after being enticed by the large jackpot on offer.

Later the same night she checked her numbers and, seeing she had matched five and a lucky star, realised she was in for “something big”.

As news of her huge win sunk in, Celeste poured herself a glass of water.

She said: “One by one I ticked off the numbers, by the fifth main number I knew I’d won something big-ish, but then when I spotted I had also matched one of the Lucky Stars I knew I’d won something even bigger.”

The Mirror also reported how two lottery winners will both receive an incredible £10,000 a month for a whole year.

Golf enthusiast Malcolm Garden, 54, bought his ticket online and has invested in renovation work on his house.

Dad-of-four Robert Brownlie, 43, bought his in a shop and even took it on holiday to Tenerife until it was validated.

Malcolm, a senior manager in clinical data management, was shocked when he woke up to an email notifying him of three wins.

And the third meant he would receive £10,000 into his bank account every month for the next year.

He found out he won the cash on September 26.

Malcolm said: “When I opened the National Lottery app I saw three messages, one with a £20 win, another was £25, which was good news, but I couldn’t find the third one.

"It was then that I realised I had won the £10,000 a month for a year prize with my Lucky Dip.”
