Hotspur Way will be very quiet over the next week or so with the vast majority of Antonio Conte's Tottenham squad on international duty. As ever, domestic football will go on pause for two weeks in September as the first international games of the 2022/23 campaign take place.
It is a vital one for a number of players, especially with the 2022 World Cup commencing midway through November. Eric Dier is one of those who must take his opportunity with both hands following his England recall for the first time since March 2021.
Whereas Dier over the past 18 months has been one of a handful of players remaining behind at the club's Enfield base to work with Conte and his staff during the international break, the Spurs boss has limited numbers this time around. So which players will he have on the training pitch over the next week? football.london takes a look.

Fraser Forster
Forster will be one of those to remain behind in the capital with an England call not coming his way. Called up to the squad back in March following a couple of injuries, there is no place for the experienced shot-stopper this time despite the absence of Jordan Pickford.
It could be a crucial couple of weeks for the 34-year-old as he may find himself between the sticks in the North London Derby against Arsenal depending on the outcome of Hugo Lloris' injury.
Brandon Austin
Forster will be joined at Hotspur Way by fellow goalkeeper Austin. Named on the bench four times last season, the 23-year-old could be back in the matchday squad vs Arsenal if Lloris is ruled out of action.
Emerson Royal
In the Brazil squad at the start of the year, Emerson has missed out on selection in recent months and that doesn't bode well for him in regards to his World Cup hopes. All he can do now is keep performing for Tottenham and hope Tite selects him.
The lack of numbers in training during this month's international break will allow Conte to spend some quality time working with the ex-Barcelona man. Good defensively but struggling at times in the final third, it is definitely something that could be looked at before the players start to return.
Clement Lenglet
Lenglet's absence from the France squad continues after manager Didier Deschamps elected against selecting him. The Les Bleus boss has numerous options to pick from in defence and that has resulted in the Tottenham man missing out on the international squad since November 2021.
However, he does have a good two weeks to rest and then prepare for the North London Derby showdown against Arsenal. As Ben Davies is currently on the sidelines through injury, the loanee will be leading the way to start on the left of the back three.
Japhet Tanganga
Tanganga will also be a regular at the training ground over the next fortnight. The 23-year-old is now too old for England U21 duty and an international call-up will only come his way if Gareth Southgate selects him in the senior squad.
However, that seems very unlikely with limited football at Tottenham and with the England boss having plenty of defensive options to select from.
Harvey White
White remained at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer rather than heading out on loan to pick up some more first-team experience. On the bench once this season in the Champions League and getting his minutes in Premier League 2, the 21-year-old will be using the next week to catch Conte's eye.
Lucas Moura
Conte has had to do without Lucas for a month now through injury. Out of action due to inflammation in his tendon, the Brazilian looks set to return to the squad after the international break.
The next two weeks give the experienced player ample time to get back to full fitness ahead of the North London Derby vs Arsenal. Conte has stressed the importance of Lucas to the team during his absence and he will be looking forward to having his man back for the first time since he was named in the squad vs Wolves.
Two players who will be at Hotspur Way but in the treatment room
Hugo Lloris
Tottenham were handed a bit of a worry on Monday following the news that Lloris would return from France duty. Selected for their upcoming UEFA Nations League games, the national team's doctor discovered a "small injury" to the goalkeeper's right thigh and the World Cup winner has been subsequently replaced in the squad.
Now set to spend the international break back at Hotspur Way, all connected with Spurs will be hoping it is not a serious issue that will keep Lloris out of the North London Derby and the upcoming games.
Ben Davies
Davies is another who will play no part during the international break after sustaining a hairline fracture to the bone just underneath his knee. Going to ground with a knock midway through the first half against Sporting CP but managing to play on with the problem for the rest of the game, the Welshman was absent for Saturday's 6-2 win over Leicester City.
Now facing three weeks on the sidelines as a result, Davies will be touch and go for the Arsenal showdown and also the Champions League tie away at Eintracht Frankfurt. While Conte will be working with a handful of players at Hotspur Way, his left-sided centre-back will be concentrating on his fitness.
