Tottenham Hotspur attacker Lucas Moura has apologised to Everton defender Michael Keane as well as his teammates after being sent off on Monday night.
The Brazilian was shown a straight red card just five minutes after being introduced in the latter stages following a late lunge on the Blues defender. Moura left a trailing leg and connected high on the former Burnley man's ankle.
His dismissal came within the final moments of their Monday Night Football clash to level the playing field after Abdoulaye Doucoure was given his marching orders shortly before the hour mark following an altercation with Spurs captain Harry Kane.

In an Instagram story post, he sent a message to his teammates and fans as well as apologising to the Everton man in the wake of the 1-1 draw.
"There are good days and bad days, today is a bad day for me," Moura wrote.
"No one is more frustrated than me! I made a mistake and I accept that. I am not this kind of player and I didn't mean to do that.
"Sometimes for the sake of milliseconds, something totally different happens than what you planned. I want to apologise to my teammates, the staff, the fans, and the club. I will keep working hard to help the team as much as I can until my last day at the club. JESUS says 'Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world'. He is my strength!
"I would like to apologise my opponent @michaelkeane93 too, I spoke to him after the game yesterday, but just to make it public as well," he added.
"Like I said, I didn't mean that. We move on."
