Luca Bish's sister still 'cries herself to sleep' and says she'd never go on Love Island

Luca Bish's sister has admitted that she still "cries herself to sleep" over the nasty messages her brother and family received during his time on Love Island.

During the Luca's time on the ITV2 show, his sister Claudia Bish helped manage her brother's Instagram account.

However, Luca was hit with an intense backlash from the public after he criticised partner Gemma Owen's "flirty" banter with another contestant on the show.

At the time, Claudia revealed that she and her family had received a vile torrent of abuse and had even been issued with death threats from trolls.

Taking to her Instagram Stories today, Claudia answered questions from fans about all things Love Island.

Probed on whether she would ever consider going on Love Island, she shared a GIF of a man declaring: "I think the f*** not!"

She was then asked by one follower about how she had dealt with the hate Luca had received while he was on the show.

"I didn't... even now I occasionally cry myself to sleep reading stuff," she confessed. "Especially when it's extremely untrue. I think a lot of people seem to view a lot of tv personalities as 'characters', but they are real humans with real emotions.

"At the time I found some weird comfort in the fact he was privy to it whilst in the villa - I'd say it's harder now just thinking about him seeing any of it! There's far more love though which helps drown out the haters."

While another asked: "How come you never really show yourself?"

"Being in the public eye/ recognised is honestly my worst nightmare, and Luca being in Love Island has reiterated that," she replied. "Private life is a happy life so I archived any photos of myself when he went in there."
