LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey’s sideline antics have long been hilarious, but the defending national champion coach became a meme with her reaction to her team’s surprising 92–78 loss to Colorado on Monday night.
The No. 1 Tigers, who entered the year with expectations through the roof after bringing back star big Angel Reese and adding star transfers Hailey Van Lith and Aneesah Morrow, came out flat against No. 20 Colorado. Their defense was shredded for more than 90 points, and the Tigers trailed by as many as 22.

That was quite the shock for a team some believed could go undefeated this season, and Mulkey’s disappointed look on the sidelines said it all.

Making the look even better is Mulkey’s wild Las Vegas-themed outfit, which included a black jacket with dice, playing cards and diamonds on it. That, combined with her furious expression, made the perfect meme, and fans had jokes.
