LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey was ejected from a game against Northwestern State on Sunday night while her team was up by 41 points and had to be held back by several members of her team. The Tigers were dominating their intrastate opponent, but that didn’t stop Mulkey from absolutely losing it on an official during the fourth quarter after she disagreed with a charge call on guard Aneesah Morrow.
While Mulkey went after the ref, star forward Angel Reese and other LSU players tried to hold back the coaching great, and after the 81–36 win, Reese had the perfect reaction to the whole debacle.

“It was fun,” Reese told reporters after the win. “I mean, me and coach Mulkey have similar personalities, and we really like to win no matter the score. And of course she’s gonna fight for us, and we all fight for her. So, in that moment, it was fun, and we knew we had her back, and she had our back.”
No. 7 LSU improved to 11–1 on the year and will face Coppin State (3–9) on Wednesday in its next matchup.
