LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne made her debut in the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, taking to sunny Puerto Rico where she was photographed by Ben Watts.
Dunne, who goes by the nickname “Livvy” on her socials, has quickly blossomed into a social media superstar. The 20-year-old boasts more than 4.1 million followers on Instagram, 85,000 followers on Twitter and has racked up 7.4 million followers and more than 377 million likes on TikTok.
During an interview with SI Swimsuit, Dunne broke down some of her most popular posts across her social media platforms, revealing which of her photos and videos performed the best among her Instagram and TikTok audiences.
“My most viral Instagram post is a picture of me about to mount the beam at practice,” said Dunne.
That post has received more than 877,000 likes on Instagram, and her videos on TikTok regularly exceed one million views.
“My most viral TikTok got 35.7 million views, which is crazy. I can’t even wrap my head around, but I’m just showing off my gymnastics skills,” said Dunne.
Dunne has garnered more than 11.5 million followers between Instagram and TikTok, but even with such a big following, she still struggles to comprehend just how popular and viral some of her posts become.
