LSU cheerleaders liberated a stuck basketball during Virginia Tech-LSU Final Four

The first game of the Final Four in the women’s NCAA tournament on Friday night hit a small hiccup early on, but it opened the door for the return of hero cheerleaders.

Barely 30 seconds into No. 1 seed Virginia Tech’s matchup against No. 3 LSU, the ball got stuck behind the backboard, momentarily pausing the game. But the Tigers cheerleaders knew exactly what to do — and fans who have seen cheerleaders save the day before, including during March Madness, knew how this would resolve.

Two LSU cheerleaders showed off their skills with one lifting the other up to knock the ball out so the Final Four game could carry on.

Well done!
