If Michigan State wants to get anything out of this season, the Spartans need to make a change at quarterback. That’s at least what Graham Couch of the Lansing State Journal believes.
Starting quarterback Noah Kim had another shaky performance on Saturday, throwing three interceptions and failing to lead a touchdown drive in the loss at Iowa. It was a third straight tough performance for Kim, and it has many including Couch calling for a change in the starting position.
With a bye week coming up, it would make sense to make the switch now if the Spartans are going to make the change. Katin Houser is the backup who would be expected to step in as the starter.

Michigan State’s coaches have been fair to Noah Kim. What’s fair now – to the team, the program, to Katin Houser and Sam Leavitt – is to give someone else a look at quarterback.
