Lowest calorie wine and prosecco allowing you to treat yourself on a diet

Many of us love a glass (or bottle) of wine and prosecco at the weekend, but some can be quite calorific.

There are some great lower calorie ones the market.

This means you can stick to your healthy eating plan, but still treat yourself to a glass of vino.

Or you can use your calories on something tasty like a takeaway and chocolate instead...

Be has put together a list of some of the lowest calorie wines and prosecco you can buy.

Skinny Witch Prosecco Brut DOCG, £16.99

This new, lower calorie prosecco comes in at just 69 calories for a 125ml glass.

It's described as "a delicate balance between the best grapes hand-picked from the perfect Italian vineyard and the decreased sugar forcing an increase in the natural use of grapes".

The Doctors’ Sauvignon Blanc, £8.99

(Tesco)

This product has 67 calories per 125ml and also has a lower alcohol content of 9.5 percent.

Its description reads: "By thinking differently, we've created our own sustainable way to grape growing.

"The result is a lower alcohol Sauvignon Blanc, full and satisfying to taste, with that refreshing tropical Marlborough finish."

Slim Zero Sugar Sparkling White Wine, £10.00

This product is also available in rose for £12.00 per bottle. It is only 55 calories per serving and contains zero sugar.

Its description says: "Slim Wine is made for the way we want to live today, healthier, happier but without compromise on quality, flavour or strength. Slim is delicious Wine made by great Winemakers."

Skinny Prosecco, £14.99

63 calories per glass of Skinny Prosecco 1754. It contains up to 60% less sugar than the standard bottle of Prosecco 1754.

Yellow Tail Pure Bright Pinot Grigio, £7.00

(Tesco)

63 calories per 100ml of this wine. Described as light and refreshing, "packed with ripe apple, pear and passion fruit flavours".

Celebrity Slim SL'M Wine, £12.99

(Very)

55 calories per 100ml and contains 0g carbs, 0g sugar and 0g fat.

"A light bright full-flavoured sparkling wine."

Brancott Estate Flight Sauvignon Blanc, £7.00

(Sainsbury's)

This product has 84 calories per 150ml serving.

It claims to be "a stunning, vibrant and refreshing low alcohol wine" which is "naturally 20% lower in alcohol and calories".

St Louis de Provence - Rosé, £11.99

(Drink Well UK)

74 calories per serving with just 0.13g sugars. This wine contains notes of cranberry and strawberry fruits.
