Lower Newtownards Road restricted on Tuesday morning

An East Belfast road will be restricted on Tuesday morning.

Police have advised motorists that the Lower Newtownards Road area will be restricted from 9am on June 27.

A PSNI spokesperson added: "Please be advised of potential delays in the area as diversions are in place until approximately 10.00am."

And in other road news, Trafficwatch NI said: "In the Greater Belfast area traffic starting to get busy on the following:-

M1 citybound J7 Sprucefield to J3 Blacks Road
Leaving the M2 at Nelson Street
A12 Westlink towards York Street
A2 Belfast Road leaving Bangor towards Rathgael Road."
