A "bright" teenage girl died after taking an overdose and collapsing during an "impulsive cry for help", an inquest heard. Emily Shore, 17, of Brinnington, Stockport, was described by her heartbroken mum as a "lovely, bubbly girl who enjoyed life and loved her horses".
Stockport Coroners Court heard how the teenager worked for her mum's housekeeping business as a cleaner. Mrs Edwards said on the day of her daughter's death they had an argument - which the coroner described as being "the type of exchange that happens between family members across the country".
In a statement read out in court by Emily's boyfriend George Jones, he described how she contacted him saying: "George, I can't deal with the stress of things and have taken tablets, can I get a taxi to yours? I may be dead by the time I get there, I love you".

George, who met Emily on Facebook six weeks before, described how on arriving at his address she told him "I love you," before collapsing. Despite quickly calling an ambulance and the paramedics arriving within minutes, the court heard she died in Stepping Hill Hospital on September 9, last year.
The inquest heard how Emily was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and had an attention span of less than 60 seconds. She took medication for low mood and received help from specialist doctors and psychologists.
Police investigations into Emily's phone data showed she had not researched suicide and no notes of intent were left for loved ones. Area Coroner Chris Morris described the overdose of tablets as "being very much an impulsive action on her part and most likely a provocative gesture and a cry for help, rather than a genuine and sustained action to bring about her death".
Mrs Edwards said: "It haunts me every day and I miss her terribly. I only hope she is in a happy place."
Coroner Mr Morris added: "I don't feel there was any real, genuine sustained intention to end her life, it was an impulsive act that has tragically gone wrong with consequences that she did not foresee." Mr Morris concluded Emily had died as a result of misadventure.
