Love Saves the Day: Everything you need to know ahead of festival

Love Saves the Day is back for 2023 and it’s just two weeks away. With the heavy rain affecting last year’s festival, organisers are hoping for better weather. Due to the late Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, the event was moved back to June but this year the festival will return to its normal spot over the late May bank holiday weekend.

According to forecasters at the BBC, the week leading up to the event will see a mixture of sunshine and light rain, with temperatures climbing to the high teens. And the Met Office's long-range predictions for May show 'temperatures being generally near to or a little above average through this period'.

With the festival just around the corner we have put together a list of all the information you will need to know if you’re planning on attending.

Where is Love Saves the Day taking place?

The festival will be returning to Ashton Court Estate (follow BS3 2HB) for a second year after the location was used for the first time in 2022. While the weather on day two wasn’t the greatest last year, the festival saw around 30,000 festival goers each day.

How can you get there?

With no general public parking on site and road closures in the surrounding area, people attending the festival are encouraged to use either public transport, a bike or come by foot. There is a designated Uber/Taxi drop off zone at Long Ashton park and ride, but no pick up point for the way home.

Organisers will be running their Love Bus this year, with return tickets costing £7.45 when you book in advance online. With pick up stops from Bristol Temple Meads and the centre, festival goers will arrive at the festival in no time.

Who’s on the Line-up for the Two day event

This year’s line up will definitely not disappoint as Fatboy Slim and Years & Years take the headliner spots. The stars are just part of a stellar line up the organisers have planned for this year along with other big names like the Sugarbabes and Katy B.
