Love Islander shares the real reason the bedroom is freezing at just one end

A former Love Islander has revealed the real reason why the villa's bedroom is freezing at one end and boiling hot at the other.

Amy Hart has recently been taking to her TikTok page to answer her followers' questions that they have about her time in the Spanish villa.

One viewer asked: "Was it cold in the bedroom? Everyone is in big jumpers all the time."

She answered: "So basically, in our villa anyway I don't know about the new villa, there was an air conditioning unit at one side of the room so the people that were in that end bed would be in like full tracksuits up to the other end of the room where we were where we'd be in like the least amount possible, covers off because it would be so so hot.

"So yeah it would be cold at one end and warm at the other."

Fans of the hit dating show have taken the opportunity to ask Amy any questions they had about being on the programme.

One person asked: "How was your sleep schedule when you came out of the villa/when you got home?"

It is a well known fact that Islanders are not allowed to know what time it is while they are on the show.

This means they don't know how long they are staying up until and it's thought sometimes they have to be awake into the early hours of the morning.

Opening up about her sleep pattern, Amy replied: "Horrendous, absolutely horrendous. I sort of, when you're in there you don't think about the fact that you're staying up until 5 o'clock in the morning.

"But when you get home there is like a Love Island time zone and you are jet-lagged from Love Island because you are so used to being up all night then sleeping in.

"But then you're on a lot of daytime TV, you're on a lot of breakfast TV so you don't get a lot of sleep but because I used to be cabin crew – don't know if I've mentioned it – I was fine actually because working on no sleep is second nature to me."

Amy was in series five of Love Island in 2019 where she had a rollercoaster journey.

The star left the villa on her own accord after 37 days after feeling that she wasn't going to meet anyone else.

She had been in a couple with Curtis Pritchard and said she had fallen in love with him but he broke things off.

Amy has been asked why she left on her TikTok, where she said she felt that she wouldn't find a connection in the remaining three weeks.

She said: "It's really simple actually, like literally I used to go to the psych twice a day towards the end and she was like 'thing is when you meet someone else in here' and I was like 'I won't meet someone else now there's only three weeks left'."

This made Amy realise that she wanted to go home due to entering the show to try and find love.
