Many ITV viewers who were eagerly awaiting this winter's series of Love Island were left disappointed after a technical issue hit right at the start.
Fans took to Twitter to express their ire over a technical hitch which happened as science and PE teacher Kai introduced himself to the viewers at home. The picture disappeared for a brief moment before it quickly returned.
Frustratingly, it then returned just as viewers were getting relaxed around an hour in. The video cut in and out, and once again, it sent viewers through the roof.

Some took a jokier view of the cable cock-up, with a few joking that it was farmer Will's sheep chewing through the wires, or perhaps previous host Laura Whitmore 'hacking ITV':
Tonight's episode is a first for Bristol-born Maya Jama, who takes the reigns from previous host Laura Whitmore after she left last year.
Maya shared a snap on Instagram earlier which revealed there were nerves under the confident exterior, stating she "hopes to make fans proud' on her on-screen Love Island debut.
Well, Maya needn't have worried, as many fans have called her a 'perfect fit' for the beloved British dating show.
