Love Island favourites Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins had their first kiss on the balcony just moments before the shock recoupling.
The couple copped off after Ron politely declined Zara's attempts at getting to know him better.
Ron casually mentioned that they have smooched several times in challenges, but were yet to share a proper kiss in private.
The financial adviser said how he had been waiting to kiss Lana after telling her that he "wanted to focus all his energy on her".
Ron said that Zara was "out of the picture" and that Lana was "the whole picture".
"We keep finding ourselves in challenges kissing each other, but we haven't really had a proper one," he told her as she broke into a smile.
"For me, I've been clucking for one and I wanted one now," Ron admitted.
"Really? I have got lip gloss on," Lana replied, to which Ron said: "I don't care."
Fans were overjoyed, with one writing: "Ron and Lana for the win please and thanks #LoveIsland."
"Ron and Lana are gonna be the stable couple of the season. They probably gon win or be second. Next #loveisland," said a second.
Although their happiness was short lived after Lana and Ron were torn apart during the recent recoupling.
Ron was snatched by Tanyel Revan, whose partner Kai Fagan was rematched with Anna-May Robey.
Tanyel said that she thought Ron was charismatic and had good banter.
As she announced that she would be recoupling with Ron, Lana burst into tears.
Lana was left to choose between newcomer David Salako and Will Young.
She said that it was a "s*** decision", but picked Will as he had shown her the most attention aside from Ron.
She also said that Will had made her laugh during his time on the show.

Fans weren't impressed by the shock recoupling, with one writing: "i literally don’t want ron to be with anyone BUT LANA."
"tanyel picking ron after Lana said that he was fully invested in her… nah that’s kinda embarrassing," another fumed.
"how has tanyel taken lana and ron away from me like that," another wrote.
