He said: "I absolutely love Wales and everything about it, also being with all family and friends from home (and obviously all the mountains) but I've been living in Essex for a year now and I've come to really like it. I've found myself meeting and growing relationships with people I never would've met. I'm closer to friends in London which I now get to see more too. Career-wise I think it's where I need to be too due to there being more opportunities in London."

Liam also spoke about how he was coping after the breakup and the impact of such a public split. He said: "It's been a difficult few months...breakups can be very hard and being in the public eye just makes it that extra bit more difficult to deal with, especially when you have rumours etc coming out and people judging your character off something which isn't true."

The star also said that he did not regret at all going on Love Island. Liam explained: "Met some people who I never would've met and experienced great things with them...the show changed my life and I'm forever grateful."
