Love Island is set to be hit with fresh drama tonight as the secret in the villa between Ellie Spence and Tom Clare comes to light.
The ITV2 reality dating show returned with another explosive episode this week as the winter series gets well underway in sunny South Africa.
Love Island has seen multiple romances blossom in the past days as the Islanders mark over two weeks since they walked into the villa and met freshly minted host Maya Jama.
Most recently among them is that between the bombshell law firm executive and the semi-professional footballer, who snuck away to the terrace for a clandestine kiss on Sunday evening’s episode.
Tom was fresh from a cooling off of his romance with Zara Lackenby-Brown and had told Olivia Hawkins he hoped they could explore their connection once again.
Yet the kiss was already started to spill out on Monday evening’s Love Island, when farmer Will Young said he had something to get off his chest.
He took Jessie Wynter, of Love Island Australia fame and who he is currently coupled up with, Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad for a catch up on the terrace and told them what Ellie had shared.
Despite promising to keep the juicy gossip quiet, Tanya then went and told Zara what had happened – and she insisted she had a sisterly duty to tell Olivia the truth.
Now the secret might already be out in the villa as ITV2 spoilers for tonight’s episode of Love Island have teased their fellow Islanders' reaction.
In scenes this evening, Zara and Tanya urgently speak with Olivia at the scene of the kissing incident itself and Zara tells her all the details.
Zara says: “I’ve just been told by Tanya that Ellie and Tom kissed,” to which an incredulous Olivia replies: “Are you joking?”
Tanya adds: “And guess what? He hasn’t even told the boys,” Olivia says: “‘I want to explore it again’ my a***, are you serious?”
Olivia begins to enlighten them on her conversations with Tom as she references Ellie and says: “What and he comes and tells me that he ‘sees her as a friend’?”
Oliva heads down and pulls Tom for a chat, she says: “Do you have anything you want to tell me?” How will Tom respond? And will Olivia like what he has to say?
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
