Love Island 2023 viewers believe they spotted a key clue that only one couple will last outside of the villa - and it has a lot to do with the Islanders' final speeches.
Viewers said the declarations of love as well as scenes from earlier episodes were a big indication as to which couples would survive away from the show.
As the finale got underway, viewers claimed a big sign gave away who would and wouldn't stay together after the show.
Host Maya Jama introduced the final four couples to the live show, as each of them awaited their fates.
While many of the Islanders were originals from day one back in January, others had made their debuts across the series.
Left standing were Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad, Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, Tom Clare and Samie Elishi, and Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan.
All four couples looked thrilled to have made it so far, and they all seemed loved-up when speaking to Maya - before Sanam and Kai were confirmed to be the winners.
But some eagle-eyed fans were convinced they'd rumbled signs earlier on that only one couple were likely to go the distance.
Taking to Twitter, viewers began sharing their thoughts that just one pairing will last outside of the villa - with many believing the other three couples might not.
Viewers noticed during the Islanders' declarations of love that three of the couples said similar things, and all made announcements of love.
Fans noted Sanam and Kai were the only pairing to be moving slower and not drop the L-word, while this could be because they got together later on in the series.
That said, during the final episode Sanam did scream as she let slip she had "fallen in love" with everything about her man.
Kai then also confessed he planned to make her his girlfriend officially once they were out of the villa.
Fans were sure after seeing how the pair had grown together and avoided all drama, that they would last the longest out of all of the couples.
One viewer tweeted: "The only couple that is actually going the distance after this show is Kai and Sanam. The others won’t last 5 minutes."
Another said: "I’m sorry but I just don’t see any of these couples lasting too long outside the villa apart from Kai & Sanam."
A third added: "Kai & Sanam are the only couple I can genuinely see working outside the villa in all honesty."
Meanwhile a fourth viewer said: "Which is why none of them apart from kai and sanam will last outside the villa."
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
