Love Island viewers were left questioning if one contestant was a "producer plant" in the villa, there to cause drama.
Mitchel Taylor sparked suspicions with viewers yet again on Thursday night, as he once again meddled in Zachariah Noble's business.
Just weeks ago fans were baffled by the Islander as he couldn't see that original partner Molly Marsh wasn't interested in him, and wouldn't leave things.
He kept trying to suggest Zach wasn't being genuine with Molly, trying to convince her to give things with him another go.
Even after she pied him off for Zach, but another girl picked Zach, Mitchel saw it as an opportunity to try with Molly again even though she wasn't interested.
Zach was annoyed with Mitchel for pulling Molly for chats and badmouthing him without telling him, and at one point Mitch claimed he'd saved Molly from being dumped for Zach's benefit - only to admit later it was for himself.
Fastforward two weeks, and with Molly gone Zach is now getting to know Kady McDermott - and Mitch is up to his old tricks.
In the latest episode Zach was frustrated to hear Mitch had taken Kady for a chat, and tried to convince her to give him a shot.
Not only that, but he learned Mitch had told Kady some of the things Zach told the boys in private.
Questioning if Mitch was trying to put Kady off of Zach to get him a chance, the Islander confronted his pal and asked what he was playing at.
Mitch had failed to mention in an earlier chat that he'd told Kady about Zach calling their conversation "dry", and he later downplayed this with both Zach and Kady.
Mitch said there was no intent behind his comments to steal Kady or to sabotage Zach's coupling, but viewers were not so sure.
This isn't the only time Mitchel has meddled in this way and threatened couples by feeding back information and stirring the pot.
Several of the boys in the villa have picked up on Mitch's shady behaviour and his constant comments against the boys, and fans have spotted it too.
With a number of the boys having called Mitch out, viewers at home couldn't work out why he kept causing so much drama - leading to the suggestion he could be a "plant".
Fans suggested he may have been put in the villa for the purpose of causing trouble, given he hasn't had a successful coupling in the four weeks he has been in there.
Viewers now believe the producers are giving him things to do to cause chaos, taking to Twitter to share their theories.
As some fans called him "snakey", one fan said: "Maybe Mitch is the plant? because this mad mix up / wind up routine he got going on is wilddddd."
Another fan said: "Maybe Mitch is the industry plant bc how can one man be THIS dedication to making sure hell is on earth."
A third viewer agreed: "Mitch is producers plant they’re like okay go tell them this do this now now say the opposite do this has to be he’s a menace."
The comments kept on coming too, with another reading: "at this point i feel like mitch has to be a producer plant with these antics."
A further tweet read: "Mitch most definitely is a producer plant," and another said: "we were worried bout molly when mitch is the real producer plant!"
It comes after the latest dumping twist of the series that aired on Tuesday night. After viewers were tasked with voting for their favourite boys and girls on Monday night, the results were announced on Tuesday and two stars left the villa.
After all Islanders were gathered around the fire pit, some of the Islanders began receiving texts confirming those who would be leaving.
The Islanders discovered that two of them would be going home immediately, and the decision was announced via text message.
Zachariah had to announce which girl was going home, and Leah was tasked with reading out the name of the dumped boy.
The axed girl was newcomer Mal Nicol, and the axed boy was original Islander Mehdi Edno - leaving the Islanders reeling and his partner Whitney in shock.
None of the Islanders had known in advance that an exit was looming, and host Maya Jama did not return to the villa to host proceedings.
Instead they all had to wait to hear their fates via their phones, and as Mal's exit was announced she shared she was fine, as she said goodbye to her current partner Sammy.
Mehdi's exit came as a huge shock to the group given he had been there since day one, and was in a pairing with Whitney for weeks.
It’s rumoured Casa Amor will return over the weekend, and the twist sees the original boys and girls split up as new arrivals enter the main villa, and the second villa.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
