Love Island fans think they've worked out who will win the series this year after last night's episode. It was the start of the big romantic dates which close the season for the couples and one pair's experience led viewers to believe they know who will take the £50k cash prize.
Three of the remaining five couples were treated to their special time together and one date in particular got a bit emotional, leaving those at home in tears as well as those on screen. It was Paige Thorne and Adam Collard up first, who went out on a boat, and Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack had a huge fiesta style shindig before an intimate dinner.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti were serenaded by none other than Alfie Boe, as they reminisced about their rocky romance so far in front of a Colosseum inspired backdrop. Ekin-Su welled up and burst into tears over Alfie Boe's performance, and the fact she and Davide said they loved each other.
But after seeing the three dates in full, fans are convinced they know who's going to win.
One fan wrote: "Y’all see this budget? yeah they going all out for our winners" as a second penned: "ITV spent the most of Davide/Ekin’s date. They know they’re the winners regardless that they didn’t have to give them the winner’s edit on Friday."
"No because the producers see all the voting figures and must know that Ekin and Davide are going to win for them to bring in Alfie Boe," a third shared.
A fourth wrote: "So Ekinde get the winners date? None so far are rubbish so I guess the 'table in a field' date is being saved for Tasha and Andrew or Luca and Gemma. My money is on Luca and Gemma."
"I love how Paige and Adam got the worse date the budget is giving cheap." another fan penned.
During their date, Ekin-Su got emotional as she admitted: "I feel like I’m in a dream."
To which Davide then replied: "To our beautiful experience and hopefully we will last forever - it will last forever."
"This is probably the most romantic date I’ve ever been on in my life. I just can’t get over this. It’s everything I’ve always wanted," she concluded as the pair enjoyed a romantic evening together.
Ekin and Davide have warmed the hearts of the nation with their budding romance. It was tricky at first, with the couple splitting up a couple of times before ultimately deciding they were the ones for each other and settling back in a relationship. The pair have grown stronger throughout, their romance blossoming. To which Davide then replied: "To our beautiful experience and hopefully we will last forever - it will last forever."
