Irish Love Island viewers have reacted to League of Ireland footballer Scott's love for Dublin, after the 22-year-old bombshell discussed his grá for nights out in the capital.
Scott-van-der-Sluis entered Love Island Season 10 on Thursday night, catching the last 10 minutes of air time, with viewers seeing the Shelbourne FC goalkeeper's date with Jess outside the villa.
Love Island viewers from Ireland have been reacting to the Welshman's fondness for Dublin, having lived there for one year, which he discussed with Dublin islander Catherine, on his first night officially inside the Mallorca villa.
The 6 foot 1 keeper told Catherine that he had been living in Castleknock, while she said she is from Tyrrelstown.
"How did you get to Dublin, why did you move to Dublin," said Catherine, who has a masters in psychology and real estate.
Scott explained that his friend lived in Dublin and he called him up one day saying he wanted to join. He described Dublin as "unbelievable" and "class" saying that he loves Irish music and the Irish "vibe."
He jokingly told Catherine that he knew she loves a bit of Twenty Two Night Club on Anne's Street.
Irish viewers were reacting to their interaction on the capital. One popular comment said: "The Dublin viewers are buzzing here."
“I love Irish music and the Irish vibe” Goes to twenty two," one person joked.
"But you still won’t let the irish viewers vote," another viewer wrote.
Catherine was in the top three least popular female islanders at the end of the episode and narrowly escaped being kicked from the villa, however, Andre, the person she was coupled up with was booted, after being chosen by the girls as the least likely to find love.
"Catherine is laughing so hard like she can't wait to leave Andre," a commenter said following her interaction with footballer Scott.
