Casa Amor has officially kicked off on Love Island 2023. The annual challenge sees six new boys and six new girls join the show and attempt to ruffle feathers among the couples.
In the line-up of girls this year is Layla Al-Momani, 28, Sammy James, 27, Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo, 25, Sanam Harrinanan, 24, Lydia Karakyriakou, 22, and Lynda Flix, 22. While the boys are made up of Kain Reed, 21, Ryan Weekley, 22, Frankie Davey, 22, Maxwell Samuda, 23, Bayley Mummery, 25, and Martin Akinola, 27.
Casa Amor, which means Love House in Spanish, sees the new contestants and original Islanders separated into two villas, where dramatic scenes unfold as couples are tested and new love is found. After a few days, the Islanders must choose to stick with their current partner or choose to couple up with a new contestant, without knowing what their other half has decided.

This year's Casa Amor started on Sunday, February 12, and while viewers don't want to wish the drama away, the Casa Amor recoupling often leads to explosive scenes, leaving many people wondering how long Casa Amor will last this year.
And while nothing has been confirmed, typically the Casa Amor segment lasts around four to five days. If Love Island sticks to the same pattern as in previous years then the Islanders will be making their decisions to stick or twist by the end of the week.
The Casa Amor recoupling always involves the presenter, and Maya Jama has also confirmed she's on her way back to the South African villa. After filming Love Island's spin-off Aftersun live on Sunday, she told her Instagram followers: "Live show last night and had a shoot this morning, now on the way to South Africa but this is everything I ever dreamed of.
"Super grateful and it's more than I could imagine. Cheesy but real life.
"Thank God every day because it could have been very different and I love every single person that has supported and made all of this happen too." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
