Love Island viewers fume that they're 'going to Ofcom' after Tanyel's shock exit

Love Island fans have been left furious after a popular islander was dumped from the villa earlier this week.

Viewers have demanded that Tanyel, who left the villa after a recoupling on Thursday evening, is brought back for Casa Amor - or they will go to Ofcom and complain.

The stunning hair stylist from London was left single after partner Jordan recoupled with Ellie, leaving her single and packing her bags to return home.

Birmingham Live reports that Thursday's episode was a controversial one, as it also showed a clash between Shaq and Ron over washing the dishes.

Fans have threatened that they'll send complaints to the broadcasting watchdog if Tanyel isn't given another chance to find love in Casa Amor, the first episode of which airs on Sunday February 12.

Tanyel was hugely popular with Love Island fans (ITV)

One person fumed: "If the public don't vote Lana and Ron as least compatible couple I'm writing to Ofcom."

"Why are the best people getting dumped?! They have casted unlikeable people. If they plot to get Will out, I'm calling Ofcom!" one angry fan penned.

A fourth said: "Shaq is about to have a billion Ofcom complaints about him because the Karens are going to claim they are scared of his aggressive behaviour and bullying. All over soaking pot in the sink kmt #loveisland "

"Can someone explain how to complain to Ofcom because Tanyel leaving yet Liv still being there confuses me #loveisland," another wrote.

Zara, another popular islander, was sent packing from the villa a couple of weeks ago - and fans were equally as raging for her.

"I actually want to make an Ofcom complaint cos it’s mad how the whole villa is gaslighting Zara," one commented.

"No these guys are all SO cold towards Zara it’s disgusting. Why so much animosity towards her? This is BULLYING!!! #loveisland @Ofcom," a second agreed.
